The aim of Litter4tokens campaign is to instill pride and put respect back into the community by encouraging hard work and in turn helping to feed and clothe their families. We donate 5% of online sales to this incredible cause.
A note from Litter4Tokens...
Clare Swithenbank-Bowman launched the Litter4tokens campaign at the Ithemba Labasha Community Centre, Shakashead in November 2015.
The campaign not only employs and empowers the nation but cleans up our environment and create a #circular economy for retailers as well as raise awareness of micro plastics in our environment.
The Litter4Tokens campaign builds pride and respect through recycling in several of our communities including KwaDukuza, Etekweni, Hillcrest, Port Elizabeth, East London, Richards Bay, Mpumalanga and Estcourt.
The concept is quite simple; people collect as many bags of litter as they can to get tokens to redeem at the token shop to feed their families. One bag is worth one token and no money changes hands.
